Morning drop off time is between 8:30am and 9:00am. Pickup is 4:00pm. We will meet in the flower gardens and start our day with some fun activities to checkin and talk about the day ahead. The animals will all be hungry so the first half of the morning will involve some farm chores! Collecting the morning’s eggs, learning how to milk the goats, and bringing feed and water to the chickens, ducks, sheep, and pigs. There will be lots of time for snuggles and connecting with your favourite animal.
After a morning snack, we will have a focused session where we work together to build some needed farm tools, work in the garden, or dive deep and learn all about an animal and their habits, welfare needs, and how to care for them.
We’ll take our lunch into the forest, where we have a base camp setup in the cool shade of the trees. Our afternoon activities will be diverse, and include making fires (safely of course!), building forts and other wildcraft activities, learning about native plants, and PLAY!
There will be 2 staff present at all times – staff to child ratio will be 1:5.
